Khargone A 33/11 KV power grid has been built at a cost of Rs 3 crore 10 lakh in Titranya of Jhirnya to relieve power problems and low voltage in the inaccessible mountainous region of Jhirnya. With this power grid, buses in 35 villages will end the voltage problem of legume as well as fields will now be seen swaying with Rabi crops as well. This will be the only grid in the Grid district, where 60-60 meter pits for earthing were made by tubewell machine. Executive Engineer Anoop Joshi said that Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Saturday inaugurated this grid along with other newly created grids in the state from Bhopal. This program was viewed and heard through the link. The chief guest of the program organized locally in Chiria was Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Sumersinh Solanki and Bhikangaon MLA Smt. Juma Solanki. Superintendent Engineer DK Gathe and Executive Engineer Shrikant Barskar were also present on the occasion.
