Gaurav Dayal, Commissioner, Aligarh Division at the Rural Self-Employment Training Institute, operated under the banner of Canara Bank, inaugurated the second training batch of BC Sakhi by lighting the lamp and offering flowers in front of the image of Maa Saraswati. On this occasion, the commissioner also distributed certificates to the women who were trained in the first batch. During the inauguration of the training, the Divisional Commissioner Gaurav Dayal said that its main objective is to provide digital pickup in its own villages, such as wages to be provided under MGNREGA scheme, funds to be provided for construction of toilets under Swachh Bharat Mission, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Withdrawal of the government’s schemes for the available funds, etc., in its own village. So that a very large amount of B.C. Transaction will be done only through Sakhi and the villagers will be helped to provide banking facilities in their own Gram Panchayat and electricity bills, telephone bills etc. bills can also be paid through it.
