Bankers held a procession in Khalilabad, demonstrated

Santkbir Nagar: Locks were hung on banks for the second consecutive day in protest against privatization. The employees staged a protest in Khalilabad on Tuesday amid sloganeering. Consumers had to suffer due to the ATM being empty. Four crore transactions have been affected due to the two-day closure. Bank personnel carrying the banner of United Forum of Bank Unions marched on foot in the city. Said that opposition to privatization of public sector banks will continue. The Central Government should immediately withdraw the decision of privatization. If this does not happen, all employees may be forced to go on an indefinite strike. Banks located in the city other than Moti Tiraha, Gola Bazaar, Industrial Area, Mukhalispur Tiraha remained closed. ATMs of bank branches also remained empty. This caused a lot of trouble for businessmen.
