Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) made an announcement to contest the Gujarat Assembly elections to be held in 2022. CM Arvind Kejriwal, who reached Gujarat today, announced that his party would contest the next assembly elections in all 182 seats. Senior Gujarat journalist Isudan Gadhvi joined AAP after CM Kejriwal’s visit. According to sources, this is CM Kejriwal’s second visit to Gujarat in a year. Earlier in February, Kejriwal had visited Surat, when his party had performed well in the civic polls and became the single largest opposition party in front of the BJP. In its first election, AAP had won 27 seats of the 120-member Surat Municipal Corporation.
