Anil Deshmukh, Navneet Rana and 17 others acquitted for violating code of conduct

Amravati (Maharashtra): State Home Minister Anil Deshmukh and Amravati MP Navneet Kaur Rana have been acquitted for violating the code of conduct during the Lok Sabha elections. Navneet Rana had staged a grand rally while filing his nomination papers for the Lok Sabha elections. A total of 17 people attended the rally. As per Section 144 of the Code of Conduct, only 5 persons are allowed to be present within 200 meters of the Collectorate.
