Anganwadi workers complained about their problems

The workers of the three Anganwadi centers in its market area have complained to the Child Development Project Officer that the respective self-help groups supplying ration etc. have not reached the same centers. Apart from this, the workers have sent a copy of the complaint letter to the DM and other concerned officials as well. Sangeeta Yadav, Kusum and Sangeet Devi, respectively, working in the area’s Anganwadi centers Sekhui I, Sekhui II and Karama Naukhania, have accused the respective self-help groups of not providing ration, soyabean, oil, Dhee, Chana dal etc. to the centers. They say that pregnant women, midwives, teenagers, malnourished children etc. are not getting the benefit of government facilities due to non-availability of these essential items. The workers have demanded to supply ration etc. items at Abilamb centers.
