65 candidates nominated for Bar Association Executive Election

With the nomination for the annual election of the 22-member executive, including the President and General Secretary of the Bar Association, the electoral battleground is ready in which more than 1200 voters will choose their new office bearers. On Thursday, 65 candidates filed nomination papers for the 22 executive positions on the appointed day. According to a release issued by the Bar Association’s Elders Committee, 7 candidates have entered the electoral fray for the post of president. The nomination papers were filed by Sanjeev Kumar Singh, Dhirendra Kumar Singh, Babulal Pandey, Shivmohan Shukla, Devendra Pratap Singh, Krishna Kant Mishra, Amit Srivastava and Nafees Ahmed for two posts of over 10 years of work experience.
