Uday Shankar resigns as President of 'Walt Disney Company' India

The President of The Walt Disney Company India and chairman of Star and Disney India, Uday Shankar has decided to step down. Disney’s Direct-to-Consumer & International segment Chairman Rebecca Campbell announced that Shankar’s resignation will be effective as of December 31, 2020. Shankar will be working with Rebeca till the end of 2020 to help in finding a new president and ensure a smooth transition. Earlier, he had served as the president of 21st Century Fox for Asia and the CEO of Star India.
