After remaining stable for three consecutive days, the prices of petrol and diesel in the country have been increased once again on Saturday, 27 February. In Delhi, petrol was increased by 24 paise and diesel by 15 paise. According to oil marketing company Indian Oil Corporation, the price of petrol in Delhi costs Rs 91.17 per liter, which was Rs 90.93 on Friday. Similarly, diesel price rose to 81.47 rupees a liter, which was Rs 81.32 per liter a day before. In Mumbai, petrol price reached Rs 97.57 per liter and diesel is being sold at Rs 88.60 per liter in the city. Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan recently said that petrol and diesel have become expensive in the country due to rising prices of crude oil at the international level.
