After 29 days, the price of petrol and diesel has again increased on Wednesday. The price of petrol in Delhi has increased by 26 paise per liter, after which it went to Rs 83.97, while diesel rose by 25 paise to Rs 74.12 per liter. According to the website of Indian Oil, petrol prices in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai have increased to Rs 83.97, Rs 85.44, Rs 90.60 and Rs 86.75 per liter respectively. While diesel prices in the four metros have increased to Rs 74.12, Rs 77.70, Rs 80.78 and Rs 79.46 per liter respectively. Oil companies like Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum update prices at 6 am every day. Petrol and diesel prices change every day depending on the crude prices in the international market along with foreign exchange rates.
