On Monday, petrol and diesel prices rose again across the country. Petrol rose by 28 paise, while diesel became costlier by 27 paise per litre. Earlier on Sunday, the price of petrol was increased by 27 paise and that of diesel by 29 paise. In Delhi, petrol is being sold at Rs 95.31 per liter while diesel is priced at Rs 86.22 per liter today. Whereas in Mumbai, petrol price has reached Rs 101.52 per litre. In Chennai and Kolkata, it has been priced at Rs 96.71 and Rs 95.28 respectively. After the hike, per litre of diesel now costs Rs 86.22, Rs 93.98, Rs 90.92 and Rs 89.07 per in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata respectively.
