Petrol and diesel prices again registered hike on Tuesday. Government oil companies have increased petrol by 27 paise per liter, while diesel price has been increased by 30 paise per liter. With this hike, petrol now costs Rs 91.80 per liter in Delhi and diesel is priced Rs 82.36 per liter. Petrol prices have crossed Rs 100 per liter level in some places of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. In Mumbai, petrol is being sold at Rs 98.17 per liter and diesel is being sold at Rs 89.48 per liter. While in Chennai, petrol is priced at Rs 93.62 per liter and diesel at Rs 87.25 per liter. In Kolkata, petrol costs Rs 91.92 and diesel has been priced at Rs 85.20 per liter.
