Petrol and diesel prices hike for third consecutive day

Days after the conclusion of assembly elections in various states, the prices of petrol and diesel have started to increase steadily. On Thursday, the prices of petrol and diesel have increased for the third consecutive day. Today, oil marketing companies have increased the prices of petrol by 35 to 44 paise and diesel prices by 45 to 51 paise. After this hike, now the price of petrol in Delhi has increased from Rs 90.74 to Rs 90.99 per liter and diesel rate has increased from Rs 81.12 to Rs 81.42 per liter. In Mumbai, petrol today costs Rs 97.34 per liter and diesel Rs 88.49 per liter.
