Parle-G is one of the most favorite biscuit brands of Indians. The biscuit brand made its best ever sales from March to May amid COVID-19 lockdown. The company has not revealed the official figures but Parle-G’s sales number has increased the market share of Parle Products in India by 5 per cent. The category head of Parle Products, Mayank Shah told Economic Times that over 80-90 percent of the market growth was increased by Parle-G sales. Parle-G is a pocket-friendly glucose biscuit brand available for Rs.77/kg. The company has been producing Parle-G since 1938.
