OYO founder booked under fraud and criminal conspiracy charges

Indian hotel-booking startup OYO’s founder Ritesh Agarwal has been booked under the charges of fraud and criminal conspiracy. An FIR has been registered in Mohali against the CEO of OYO Hotels and Homes Private Limited (OHHPL) and Sandeep Lodha, the CEO of OHHPL’s brand Weddingz.in. The complaint was filed by Chandigarh-based businessman Vikas Gupta in Dera Bassi Police station in Mohali. Although, OYO has refuted the FIR by calling the claim false and baseless.
