ITC sets up contigency fund of Rs. 150 crore to fight COVID-19 pandemic

ITC chairman Sanjiv Puri has announced on Friday to set up Rs. 150 crores contingency fund to help the vulnerable section of society in the fight against coronavirus pandemic. ITC will also collaborate with district authorities to provide assistance in health and rural healthcare system that reaches out to the weakest sections of society. They also reported that the fund will help ‘ground forces’ and workers employed in medicines, groceries and other essential goods.
