Infosys employee arrested for controversial post on COVID-19

An employee of Infosys, Bengaluru was arrested for posting controversial content saying “Spread the Virus” on social media. The IT services company stated on Twitter that Infosys has completed its investigation on the social media post by one of its employees and the post is against company’s code of conduct. The City Crime Branch has arrested the employee. In India, the highly contagious virus has infected over 800 people across the country and killed 19 others.
