HCL’s Roshni Nadar Malhotra tops the list of India’s richest women

Roshni Nadar Malhotra of IT company HCL Technologies has topped the list of richest women in the country. She has assets worth Rs 54,850 crore. Kiran Mazumdar Shaw of Biocon follows her in the list with assets worth Rs 36,600 crore. According to the report prepared by Hurun India and Kotak Wealth Management, 31 women are in the ‘self-made’ category in the list of 100 richest people with a net worth of at least Rs 100 crore. These include 6 professional managers and 25 entrepreneurs. Shaw ranks first in the self-made category, followed by Radha Vembu of Zoho with assets of Rs 11,590 crore.
