The domestic spot price of gold recorded a slight rise on Friday due to depreciation of the rupee, according to HDFC Securities. Gold price increased by Rs 97 per 10 grams in the national capital on Friday. With this increase, its price rose to Rs 46,257 per 10 grams. In the previous session, gold had closed at Rs 46,160 per 10 grams. Whereas, the price of silver declined in the domestic bullion market on Friday by Rs 275 per kg. Its price came down to Rs 66,253 per kg. Silver had closed at Rs 66,528 per kg in the previous session. The Indian rupee was trading at 74.75, down 17 paise, against the US dollar in early trade on Friday.
