On Monday, the prices of both precious metals witnessed rise in the domestic bullion market. According to HDFC Securities, gold prices on Monday rose by Rs 169. After this hike, gold price reached Rs 46,753 per 10 grams in the national capital after improved international gold prices and depreciating rupee value. In the previous trade, gold had closed at Rs 46,584 per 10 grams. Silver also rose by Rs 396 to reach Rs 66,080 per kg against Rs 65,684 per kg in the previous trade. Meanwhile, the Indian rupee opened lower by 4 paise at Rs 74.44 against the US dollar in early trade.
