In Delhi, the price of gold and silver saw a rise on Wednesday, 7th April. According to HDFC Securities, gold price rose by Rs 587 to Rs 45,768 per 10 grams today amid the rupee depreciation. In the previous trade, gold had closed at Rs 45,181 per 10 grams. With the rise in gold price today, silver also became expensive by Rs 682 to Rs 65,468 per kg, compared to Rs 64,786 per kg in the previous trade. The Indian rupee fell by 24 paise to close at Rs 73.66 against the US dollar in Wednesday’s trade. In the international market, gold traded at US $1,739 an ounce and silver was flat at US $25.04 an ounce.
