On Friday, gold once again became expensive, while the price of silver registered a decline in the domestic bullion market. According to HDFC Securities, gold rose by Rs 294 to reach the price of Rs 47,442 per 10 grams in the national capital. In the previous trade, gold had closed at Rs 47,148 per 10 grams. Whereas, the price of silver came down by Rs 170 to trade at Rs 66,274 per kg. In the previous trade, silver was at Rs 66,444 per kg. Meanwhile, gold was trading higher at USD 1,830 an ounce and silver was flat at USD 25.57 an ounce in the international market.
