Gold and silver rates declined on Tuesday in the spot market. According to HDFC Securities, gold prices in the national capital decreased by Rs 31 per 10 grams. Due to this, the price of gold in the city was reduced to Rs 46,891 per 10 grams. The fall in the demand and prices of gold globally, as well as the rise in the value of the rupee, led to a reduction in the prices of the yellow metal in the domestic bullion market. Meanwhile, the price of silver in the spot market also came down by Rs 372 per kg to Rs 66,072 per kg. In the previous session, the price of silver was at Rs 66,444 per kg.
