On Monday, a rise in the spot price of gold and silver was witnessed. According to HDFC Securities, an increase of Rs 241 per 10 grams of gold was seen in Delhi. The price of gold reached at Rs 45,520 per 10 grams. According to analysts, the price hiked in Delhi due to the rise in the price of gold and silver worldwide. In the previous session i.e. on Friday, the gold price in the spot market was Rs 45,520 per 10 grams. In the spot market, silver rose by Rs 781 to Rs 68,877 per kg. The price of silver was Rs 68,096 per kg in the previous session. According to the Securities, the rupee has gained 16 paise against the US dollar in the currency market.
