Fuel prices have been increased for the second consecutive day. While diesel is nearing Rs 100 per liter, petrol has gone beyond Rs 100 in many cities. In Delhi, the diesel price has increased by 23 paise per liter while the price of petrol has increased by 27 paise. On Tuesday, petrol in Delhi costs Rs 94.49 per liter and diesel is priced at Rs 85.38 per liter after the hike. In Mumbai, after touching an all-time high, petrol is being sold at Rs 100.72 while in Chennai, petrol is priced Rs 95.99 for a litre. Petrol price has risen by 56 paise in the last two days. While the price of diesel has gone up by Rs 4.60 per liter in last 18 days and has become costlier by 49 paise in the last two days.
